Production: The grapes of Shafaya were handpicked from multiple vineyards surrounding the area of Iqrit. It is meticulously crafted by keeping each block or sub-block separate through fermentation and aging until creating the blend the following year. The wine went through 10 days of fermentation in stainless steel vats and was aged afterwards for 8 months in old French oak barriques. The Cabernet and Shiraz were then blended together and were re-aged in both French and American oak barriques for a period of 6 months before bottling. The wine is unfiltered and may contain some natural sediments.
